Teacup pigs are smaller than Commercial pig that weighs 800+. A Teacup pig is also called as “micro-mini” and Pennywell Miniature Pig is an uncommon minuscule type of pig, so it is called as about the size of teacup. Some interesting facts and striking photos of Teacup pigs are as under.
However for many people, the word of pig summon up images of a farm yard with huge pigs undulating in mud, or eating at a pig trough. But for some people pigs are well mannered sitting in the living room with them. Teacup potbellied pigs are growing increasingly well-liked as domestic pets. This teacup miniature pig is cute-as-a-button which never grows up.
In October 2007, this breed received extensive publicity, when the BBC and London Daily Mail photographed and profiled. These pigs are about a fifth the size of ordinary pigs; they have been a hit with visitors at Pennywell Farm.
Characteristics
These pigs have a proboscis for a nose, small tails, short legs, thick torsos and coarse, prickly hair. They are, eating almost anything they can find, they are omnivorous.
