You can see here the video of the Ally Bank Commercials. The Ally Bank Commercials are amusing. The kids’ reactions are seen so funny and the adult salesman is not bad either. Casting children is not easy in TV commercials, and the results are most of catastrophic. The ad agency produced a series of TV commercials for Ally Bank (BBH New York).
A young boy is playing with a red truck in ad of the Ally Bank. The truck is taken away by a sharp-dressed man and given a paper cut-out truck as a replacement. Claimed by a sharp-dressed man that the red truck comes with a “limited time offer,” and the kid’s time is up.
In another ad, two young girls are sitting on a table. One of the girls is asked by a man if she wants a pony. Expectantly she nods and a plastic pony is given her by the man. When the second girl also wants a pony, the man whistles and an actual pony comes. At that time the first girl’s face reacts as her disbelief. She is confused and annoyed over the unfairness of it all. These types of commercials are funny, subtle, effective and memorable and the message is — banks not being upfront with their clients – comes through loud and clear.
