Anthony Burke and John Rendell bought Christian the lion cub from the zoo department at Harrods. Both are the Travelers from Australia who saw two lion cubs in a small cage. They waited two hours in front of cage and thinking to offer better life and future to these cubs.
They purchased Christian in around £3,500 and moved to their flat.
When he grew up to adult people tried to contact them for promotional purpose. Soon he becomes hero in modeling and TV shows.
After some time they sent him in wild of Kenya, his natural home. This video was recorded in July 1971, when they visit Christian.
How an animal can remember such relationship? Amazing love between them.
