I am trying to book a return flight package for my mum from Hangzhou to Kuala Lumpur with my mastercard all in vain. I have tried four times without success. I need this flight booking urgently and it’s beginning to get to my nerves!!

Just a warning for any thinking about booking with AirAsia: they have appalling post-payment service, and absolutely no regard for customers, or customer-service. I work in online retail, have spent years booking various services and items online, and have worked for an online-only hotel company in the past, but I have never come across a company as infuriatingly poor at customer contact than AirAsia. Make no mistake, even if these guys mess up, you’ll be the one wasting HOURS and considerable money on attempting to sort the problem out. Never again will I use AirAsia – this is the first and last time.
I booked two tickets online more than a month ago: one ticket confirmation was sent, the other (although payment swiftly left my bank account) was not sent. the confirmation number given during the check out of payment doesn’t work on the website. But the fun really begins when I tried contacting to have the corect confirmation number (and email) sent. I have spent HOURS on hold, only to be disconnected; I tried using the Chat option throuhg the website, and waited 3.5hrs before I was advised there were no agents availbe, so discconnected; I have emailed numerous times in the past month asking for SOMEONE to email me back, but only get auto responses saying they’l get back to me. The phone numbers provided for Oz and UK offices do not actually work, so there is complete silence from them, while I am attemtping to resolve their f#@k up. I have never felt so angry with a company as this, and truly hope no-one ever goes through this again. DO NOT USE AIR ASIA. Not happy, Alun
