The Japan’s multinational IT Company Fujitsu has announced to launch its upcoming slat tablet PC, STYLISTIC Q550 at the CeBIT trade show. CeBIT is the world’s biggest computer expo which will run from 1 March to 5 March, 2011 in Hanover, Germany. The Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 is built to fulfill the requirements of mobile enterprise computing and to meet high-security criteria of governments and businesses.
Most importantly, the Stylistic Q550 will have the Window 7 professional together with Intel’s new Oak Trail based Atom processor. The Atom Z670 will possibly debut in the Oak Trail line-up and also it will wind up in the Stylistic Q550. The CPU contains single core in addition to two threads which works at 1.5GHz and bears 512KB of cache. It requires very low TDP; only 3W which is similar to the need of battery operated mobile appliances like tablets. This is our sweet spot – and we are targeting the professional and government computing markets with a new slate PC that draws on more than twenty years experience in building mobile computers for enterprise use.”
