HTC launched 2 new Mango smartphone: Titan and Radar

Two new Mango smartphones HTC Titan and HTC Radar have been unveiled on Thursday, 1st September 2011 in London by HTC. These both smartphones are powered by Mango mobile operating system. These both devices will be available from next month in Europe and Asia. The IS12T from Fujitsu Toshiba Mobile Communications was the first smartphone that runs on Windows Mango, Windows Phone 7.5. HTC Titan:

HTC Titan is the higher-spec model and aimed at high-end customers. It runs on 1.5GHz processor. It is featured with a massive, 4.7-inch “super LCD” touchscreen with 480×800 WGVA resolution, and 16GB of embedded memory with 512MB of RAM. HTC Titan is light and thin phone and it becomes snappy and responsive by 1.5GHz processor. Users are allowed to rent and purchase movies that can be downloaded directly to their handset, by Watch service of HTC Titan.

HTC Titan also includes 8 megapixel camera, 28mm, wide-angle lens with f/2.2 Lens and backlit BSI sensor. Superior quality photos are also offered in low-light situations by this device. It also contains 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat, a 5.1 surround sound, 3G, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and a 1600 mAh battery. HTC Titan also includes digital sensor, G-sensor, and GPS. Measurement of this device is 70.7 x 131.5 x 9.9 mm and its weight is 160 grams.

HTC Radar:

HTC Radar is a mid-range smartphone, and small size phone in comparison to HTC Titan. But it is the most attractive model with very sleek designed aluminum body. It is featured with 1GHz single-core processor, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1, Adreno 205 graphics, 512MB of RAM, and 8GB of onboard storage. It also includes a 3.8-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixel, GPS, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and 720p video recording capabilities, an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, and a 1,520mAh battery.

HTC Radar is easier to use one-handed in comparison to the Titan. It also contains a front-facing VGA camera, smaller screen size and more compact dimensions. Measurement of HTC Radar is 120.5 x 61.5 x 10.9 mm and its weight is 137 grams. The Radar is very snappy, and had no difficulty in pushing around Mango despite it contains a slower processor. It can capture better photos in low-light situations with its backlit sensor and 28mm wide-angle lens. However, its battery is not user-accessible that is a downside of this device.
