The HTC has announced the updated versions of its three most popular smartphones Incredible, Desire and Wildfire mobile at the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona. All these three versions are put with the suffix ‘S’ and named as ‘Incredible S’, ‘Desire S’ and ‘Wildfire S’. These smartphones have new features and specs in addition to HTC sense.
Peter Chou, the CEO of HTC said, “HTC developed the HTC Sense experience to bring cutting-edge innovation to our customers in simple and natural ways that just make sense – this is what HTC Desire S, HTC Wildfire S and HTC Incredible S represent best.” Also, added that these smartphones offer an exhilarating mix of style, innovation and features which increase the people’s experience of mobile in a personal and authentic manner.

Earlier known as the flagship device, the HTC Incredible is updated in the “Incredible S” with the 4-inch Super LCD touchscreen with stereo surround sound and a nifty element. This element is not drawn but rotates the standard android as per screen orientation. It has 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor connected with 768MB of RAM. The 1450 mAh battery is inserted in it. Incredible S also provides 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera for video calls and self portraits captures. It will offer Android Froyo 2.2 baked rather than Android 2.3. Additionally, it has measure of 120x64x11.7mm and 135.5g weight. Slim look as well as cutting edge makes the Incredible S unique from others.

The next Smartphone in the lineup is Desire S. The original 3.7-inch WVGA screen with 480 x 800 resolution is remained in the Desire S but came with new aluminum unibody appearance. It includes 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor and 768MB of RAM which will help to run more application at the same time. It has the 1450 mAh battery. It also features 5 megapixel rear facing camera with 720 video recording capacity and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. The Android 2.4 Gingerbread operating system is continued in the Desire S from its earlier desire smartphone edition. It has the size of 115×59.8×11.6mm and 130g weight.

The wildfire is modified as an entry level phone which has 600MHz CPU with 512MB RAM and 512MB storage capability. The notable update is that its 3.2 inches screen presents higher resolution, from 320×240 QVGA to 480×320 HVGA. The 5 megapixel camera is available with autofocus, microSD card slot as well as expandable memory up to 32GB. Users can easily tag their friends’ photos on Facebook. The Android 2.4 Gingerbread OP is inserted in it. Wildfire S is the smallest phone among all three as it measures 101.3×59.4×12.4mm and weighs 105 grams. It is offered in different colors. At the time of launch, it will be in black, white and purple but later it may come with little wide range. Moreover, Wildfire S holds Bluetooth 3.0 and NFC support together with Wi-FI b/g/n.
Along with the above described specifications, all three models are designed with the various sensors like G-Sensor, Digital compass, Proximity sensor and Ambient light sensor, maps, e-mail accounts as well as Google reader. They will be launched widely across the Europe and Asia in the second quarter of 2011. The price information is not announced yet.
