The specifications and a photo of upcoming phone LG Optimus G Pro have been leaked. It is expected that LG Optimus G Pro will be the better version of the LG Optimus G. As per leaked information, this device will come with a slight larger, a full HD 5-inch screen with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. This phone will be powered by a 1.7Ghz Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor with 2GB of RAM. This handset is expected to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System.
LG Optimus G Pro will be featured with 13-megapixel rear facing camera for video recording and 2.4 megapixel front facing camera for video chatting, and it can also take some good photos. It will have 32GB of internal memory but there is no information regarding its expansion through the MicroSD card. The dimension of this handset is 139 x 70 x 10.1mm and its weight is around 160 grams. This device will expectedly have a 4G LTE connectivity.
LG Optimus G Pro will feature a 3000 mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery that is sufficient to offer a good life to the phone with a full HD display. This device is planned for Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo and includes One-Seg and NOTTV functionality. This handset is expected to come with features like dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, NFC, wallet and a couple of digital TV standards. It will be a 10.1mm-thin device.
It is expected that it will be officially announced by Korean manufacturer, LG in the MWC 2013 event. It may be launched in Q2, 2013 and offered in selected countries like Canada, Japan, South Korea and the United States. This device will possibly compete with Sony Xperia Z, HTC Butterfly and Samsung Galaxy S IV.
