Logitech Intros Rechargeable Speakers for iPhone, iPod – For music on the move!

Logitech is credited for creating the technology that enables you to use a mouse anywhere you want on any surface. Logitech’s Darkfield Laser Tracking technology, announced on August 19, 2009, allows users to accurately mouse on multiple surfaces, including glass. This technology is currently featured in two of Logitech’s products: the Performance Mouse MX and the Anywhere Mouse MX. Logitech now unleashes a portable speaker dock for iPod and iPhone which delivers great sound, the Rechargeable Speaker S715i. Packed in a compact design, the new Logitech speaker features eight custom-designed speaker drivers and an eight-hour rechargeable battery. Users can now enjoy crisp audio produced by the speaker’s two three-inch laser-tuned neodymium drivers for a rich mid range, two half-inch neodymium tweeters for crisp high notes, and four two-inch passive radiators for deep bass, an included carrying case, a 3.5-inch auxiliary input, and a remote control. Logitech’s Rechargeable Speaker S715i will be available this month and will sell for $150.

The new Rechargeable Speaker S715i offers eight drivers – twice that of our previous speaker docks – and includes a rechargeable battery so you can take your tunes with you. So go ahead, lose yourself in your music – and never worry about disposable batteries again,” commented Mark Schneider, Vice President and General Manager of Logitech’s audio business unit.

The Logitech S715i is a blessing in disguise for the music addicted people who keep looking for newer and more convenient ways of indulging themselves into their favourite tunes. The Universal Dock Connector can also be connected with this dock to flawlessly work with any iPhone or iPod, thereby enhancing convenience. The offering comes with a travel case that offers space for the power adapter and remote.

One very cool usage of music on the move is in your cars or caravans now you do not need a specially built in music system there and have these speakers installed rather and carry your iPad or iPhone on your journey (which most of us usually do) and listen to the favourite songs that are already present on your iPod or iPhone.
