If we take a look at past 6 months, It looks like Motorola has seen better days with impressive numbers of Android-powered smart phones and more android devices are still coming from abode of Motorola (Motorola, Inc. is an American Fortune 100 telecommunications company manufacturing wireless telephone handsets). On 30th July, 2010 a new FCC filing was uncovered showing Motorola Sage: A new Android running device from Motorola.
Rumors indicate that Motorola sage could be headed to AT&T (AT&T is largest provider of fixed & mobile telephony service in United States with having 210 million customer base.). You might be aware that smart phones are equipped with array of radios, and Motorola is using android in most of its smart phones these days. This makes us to assume that Motorola sage will run Android OS (Android is an operating system for mobile devices initially developed by Android Inc. and later purchased by Google).

This device will be equipped with 7.2Mbps HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) and 2Mbps HSUPA(High-Speed Uplink Packet Access: 3G mobile telephony protocol with up-link speeds up to 5.76 Mbit/s) on the 850 and 1900MHz bands, quadband EDGE(Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution), WiFi, Bluetooth, AGPS, and a digital compass. This is the same frequency bands used by AT&T, so this device will definitely work on AT&T.
If we take Motorola BackFlip (AT&T’s first Android phone with a physical keyboard, MotoBlur Os, 3.1-inch, 320-by-480 capacitive touch screen and 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201 chipset.), and change its flipping keyboard with a normal sliding keyboard, you can get probably something similar to the Motorola Sage MB508.
