MTS, the Indian telecommunication company has recently launched three new entry level smartphones – MTS Mtag 351, Mtag 352 and Mtag 281. The company usually offers smartphones at low price to the people. The devices offer attractive unlimited plans and free MTS to MTS local calls for three months. The smartphones feature a pre-loaded MTS TV application that permits the users to access Live TV with more than 100 channels. The users can even go through thousands of apps, games and widgets on Google Play store. The main aim behind the release of these smartphones is to provide the Android facilities at a very low cost. Mtag 351
Mtag 351 sports a 3.5 inches HVGA capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 × 480 pixels. The device runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread as its Operating System. It features a 3 Megapixel camera at rear to capture images and a front facing VGA camera for web conferences and video chat. Mtag 351 is powered by 800 MHz Qualcomm processor. The specifications of Mtag 352 are similar to that of Mtag 351, but the only difference is that Mtag 352 will not include a front facing camera. The device also sports a 3.5 inches capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 × 480 pixels. It has Android 2.3 Gingerbread as its Operating System. Mtag 352 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S1 processor. It is equipped with a strong and powerful 1400 mAh battery that delivers 200 hrs of stand-by time and 240 mins of talk-time. It features a 3.0 Megapixel rear camera with video recording capability. There is a 2 GB card that can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card. Connectivity features of Mtag 352 are Wi Fi 802.11 B/G/N, GPS, Mobile Hot Spot and 3.5 mm audio jack. It also has Live MTS TV, Online Music Application and FM. The device is priced at Rs 6500.
Mtag 281
Mtag 281 sports a 2.8 inches capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The device is powered by 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It features a 3 Megapixel camera at rear. Mtag 281 also runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The device has a 1200 mAh battery and connectivity features include 3.5 mm headset jack, Bluetooth, Mobile Hot Spot, GPS and WiFi 802.11 B/G/N.
