It is that time of the year again the, the consumer electronics show one of the biggest technology fets in the world is back in house and this time it has brought with itself some really cool new gadgets and technologies along. For those of you who do not know the CES is help every year in the month of January in the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas. Not open to the public, the Consumer Electronics Association-sponsored show typically hosts previews of products and new product announcements from the technology giants from all around the world.
However, the CES 2012 has not brought good news with itself this year as Microsoft has officially announced that it will not be taking part in the event from the next year onwards and it will be their last appearance at the event. But that in no means is all as a lot of other conglomerates from around the world have come up with some really cool gadgets for this edition of the show here is a list of exactly what we can expect at the CES 2012. The show shall have previews for Sony Walkman Z1000, Sony Xperia ion, Xperia S, Asus nVidia tegra 3 ics tablet, Playbook OS 2.0, Open mobile platform, BlackBerry Curve 9370, Motorola Droid Razr and the Droid Razr MAXX, Gorilla Glass 2, HTC Titan II, LG Viper, Motorola droid 4, Sony Xperia ion, Huawei Ascend P1S and P1, Supertooth Disco2 portable speaker and Crystal speakerphone, Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G and LG Connect 4G, Acer Iconia Tab A700, Samsung AdHub and some more great electronic devices however we shall take this time to take a sneak peak at some of these devices.
Sony one of the biggest contributors to the show of all time is coming up with some great devices this year as well, the Sony Walkman Z1000 is one of the proudest presentation of the company tis one is a mobie entertainment player probably the best music device that the company has launched till date the device can reestablish the legacy of the Walkman and but it needs a better battery life and a slight price drop. THe company has also decided to launch two new smartphones called in the Xperia series the Xperia ion and the Xperia arc S in the Sony Xperia series, both the smartphones are real monsters with the former bearing a Dual Core processor and Android Gingerbread and the latter bearing a 1.4 Ghz processor with the same operating system.
Asus’ tegra 3 processor based tablet is rumored to be having the Android v4.0 operating system if that is the case then this shall be the first such tablet device in the world. Blackberry is also coming up with the newest member of the Curve Series of smartphones with the BB Curve 9370 being introduced in the show, this one shall see the company going back to the good old QWERTY form factor and packing some raw processing power with the same.
Motorola has also gained quite a lot from the CES over the years and hence we see a lot of Moto devices being introduced in the CES every year this CES 2012 shall be seeing the return of the RAZR series with the Droid Razr and the Droid Razr Max two amazing powerhouses from the hands of the first Android makers. The two devices shall be no less than twin brother with one being given a little edge over the other during their making. The RAZR has been given some RAW power 1.2 GHz Dual core processor and the Gingerbread OS however the Razr Max beats the younger brother by having a slightly better battery life.
HTC has also announces the Titan II WP device at the CES which indeed can be a real amazing shot for the Windows Phone lovers, they say that HTC has given its all to make the WP the next biggest thing happening in the market after Android with this new smartphone, the Titan II bears an amazing 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon monster of a processor with a 16 MP snapper and a 4.7’’ Super LCD display.
The Samsung Galaxy Attain is another amazing new introduction that has been made at the CES 2012 this one is a small affordable and attainable new Android device from the house of Samsung. IT bears a 1 Ghz Single core processor, 3 MP camera and the Android 2.3 operating system as far as the specs of the device are concerned it has to be aimed at the low- end or the mid end mobile users of the world.
Apart from these the Playbook OS v2.0, Open mobile platform and the Samsung AdHub are some of the new technologies that are coming up in the CES 2012.
