The new Mac Mini introduced by Apple yesterday at the ongoing E3 is a redefined and improved version of the older Mac mini in more ways than one. The mac mini is tiny, very tiny to say the least. The device is only 1.4’’ thick and 7.7’’ square it weighs around 3 pounds and packs all the power circuitry inside hence getting rid of the ugly looking power brick a trick that the other desktop manufacturing companies should learn. The device will be shipped without a a mouse and a keyboard and also without the display because according to Apple this device is especially meant for switchers who would already be having the mouse, keyboard and display that is compatible for the device. The Apple Mac mini is also being claimed to be the most power efficient computer in the world and the power features that Apple has promised to give with the hew desktop computer it may very well be the most power efficient computer in the world.
The Mac mini has been powered with an HDMI port if elaborated it means that the device has a High Definition Media Out port through which it can be connected to a HDTV directly to enlarge your computing experience to the widest of screens inside your house. Another addition is the in-built SD card reader that can be used to read all the contents that your smartphone would gather. Besides, the Mac mini comes with a NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics card which according to apple is going to enhance the graphic capabilities of the device two fold and give the user a more pleasant and jerk free environment to run the games with the best graphics available. Though the device seems small in size one should not make the mistake of under estimating its capabilities- the Apple Mac mini comes with an Intel core2 Duo processor and an Apple Mac operating system, the device is packed with a 2GB ram and 320GB hard disk for excellent performance.
Apple has also released the server edition for the Mac Mini which carries a 4 GB ram and 500 GB of hard disk space inside it and can used to create server computers. The new Apple Mac Mini comes with an easily removable bottom lid through which hard disk space can be easily added to the device and the so can be the ram space. The new Mac mini is available for the cost of $699 for the home edition and it costs $999 to own a Server edition. The new Mac mini will hit the market. The Mac mini also supports the 802.11n WIFI kit against the b/g versions that was carried in the earlier versions that provides it with excellent speeds over the internet when inside a network.
