A new Dual SIM phone, Nokia 101 has been recently announced in India by Nokia. Nokia 101 comes with wonderful specifications and features at affordable price. Users will get Nokia 101 in the third or fourth quarter of 2011 with the price tag of around 1700 rupees in India, $35 or approx. €25. This handset will come in Coral Red and Phantom Black colors. Users are allowed to connect to two diverse networks to get calls and messages by dual SIM functionality. Measurement of this handset is 110 x 45.5 x 14.9 mm.
Nokia 101 runs on the Series 30 operating system. It is featured with a 1.8-inch TFT display with 120 X 160 pixels of resolution, integrated flash light and 3.5mm headset jack. This handset also includes FM radio, an integrated MP3 player, loudspeaker, preloaded games, a 3.5 mm AV connector and 16 GB microSD memory cards. Users are allowed to carry their complete music collection with them through this mobile phone. It contains 800 mAh battery and good battery life that can last up to 25 days on standby, or 6.7 hours talk-time.
Nokia 101 includes a powerful 103-phon loudspeaker, dual-SIM capability and SIM manager. Users are allowed to store the settings of up to 5 SIM cards by this phone. This device is also very easy and hassle free to use. Users can send text messages and dial contacts very easily because the keys are placed very comfortably in this phone. The screen of this handset is small but it certainly contains good clarity and normal usage. Nokia Life Tools and Nokia Money are offered by Nokia 101 to provide instantaneous access to locally-relevant information on education, healthcare, entertainment and agriculture. But this mobile does not have Camera, 3G, Bluetooth, GPRS, USB, and EDGE like features.
