Recently specs and screenshots of the latest Nokia smart phone, called the Nokia 700 or Zeta has been released that shows it will arrive pre-loaded with the Symbian Belle software update. The leaked images and specifications of Nokia 700 are cropping up all over the web; however Nokia has not officially made any announcement. The screenshots appears very professional and probably captured for releasing to the press.
The Nokia 700 will feature a 3.2-inch AMOLED displaying 640×360 pixels as per The Nokia Blog but its uncertain whether it will be a traditional AMOLED display available on the Nokia N8 or the AMOLED Clear Black Display found on the existing Nokia E7. The handset will be running the most superior version of the Symbian OS codenamed Belle that includes the elements of MeeGo OS. It seems that Nokia is still developing Symbian handsets after company’s partnership with Microsoft for the development of Windows Phone 7 devices. It is estimated to come with the price tag of $414 off-contract.
According to leaked images of the specifications, the Nokia 700 Zeta may even be marketed as the “thinnest smartphone ever” by Nokia. It will be just 10mm thick, measurements of 110 x 51 x 10mm and weighs 80 grams. The phone can be branded as N7 and come with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology together with a speedy 1 GHz processor. It will have a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash at the back as well as front facing camera for video calling. A Near Field Communication chip in this phone is added by Nokia. Other features comprise Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G HSPA support, 1080mAh battery, memory expansion support up to 32GB via microSD card, and more.
