One of the world’s largest mobile manufacturer and conglomerate, Samsung, has recently launched an entry-level touchscreen phone known as the Samsung C3300 Champ. This handset is termed as the “Smallest touchscreen phone ever” with a touch of compactness and good-design. The handset is accompanied by a suite of interesting facets and features, and is surely going to attract a lot of customers on the go.
The Samsung C3300 Champ phone features a TFT resistive touchscreen enabled display with the support for 240 x 320 pixels, a descent 2.4 inch size and about 256K colours. Accompanied by dimensions of 96.3 x 53.8 x 13 mm, the handset weighs about 80 gm. The phone is generally operable on 2G GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 networks, and is provided with accelerometer sensor for auto-rotation of the user interface and also the TouchWiz Lite User Interface.
The phonebook for the Samsung C330 Champ handset has the capability of storing about 1000 contacts and supports the Photocall feature. With the ability to display call records, the phone is provided with an internal memory of 30 MB, and also the support for Micro SD card, which can support storage up to 8 GB. In terms of alert types, the handset provides for vibration and MP3 ringtones, is accompanied by stereo speakers capable of producing 3D sound effects and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
In terms of data storage and connectivity, the Samsung C3300 Champ phone supports GPRS Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 – 48 kbps and EDGE Class 10, 236.8 kbps connectivity, but is not provisioned for 3G or Wireless LAN. The phone supports Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, but no Infrared port. The handset also provides for a microUSB port v2.0.
In terms of multimedia support, the Samsung C3300 Champ phone is provided with a 1.3 MP camera which supports a resolution up to 1280 x 1024 pixels, enables video recording QCIF at the rate of 15 frames per second, but no secondary camera. Other appealing features of the handset include the Stereo FM radio with RDS, MP3/WMA/eAAC+ player, MP4/H.263 player, Voice memo, Organizer, T9 and Social networking integration. The handset is also Java MIDP 2.0 enabled but does not support GPS. The phone comes with stored as well as downloadable games. If you want to buy Samsung Champ without camera, still you have the option to add camera via provided USB port.
The Samsung C3300 handset supports messaging features like SMS, MMS, Email, and comes integrated with a browser which supports WAP 2.0/ xHTML, HTML. The phone is available in vibrant shades of deep black, Espresso brown, Sweet pink, chic white. The phone comes with a Standard battery, Li-Ion 1000 mAh, which supports a stand-by time of up to 666 hours, and a talk time of up to 12 hours.
At the present time, the Samsung C3300 handset is available only in Germany, but is scheduled to be launched in other parts of Europe in the coming months. The phone is currently being accompanied by a price tag of $172 or €139. So, Samsung mobile champ price in India will be around Rs.8000/-.

Im Using Champ for 2 Months. But You Know it is a Very Bad Local Phone. I Like it Very much But the phone is now in Full of Complaint. After 1st Month the phone Died. And I Replaced Then After Two Weeks The Display Also Gone. I replaced the Display Once More and Now It has No Video and Camera Support. The Phone will Hang When we Open It. Now Iam Going to the Samsung Service Centre for Another Repair.
So I Advice Please Do not fall in the Cheat. PLZZZZ Its Very Very Bad Phone..

Hi. Just purchased Samsung GT- C3300D thru an online vendor for Rs.3500.00 . I could not locate FM Radio on it ? is it without fm radio ?
