1, Display
If rumors are to be believed then the Galaxy Note 2 will flaunt a huge with an impressive 5.5 inch display. This means, the upcoming Note 2 device will get a screen that is 0.2 inches larger than its predecessor i.e. Galaxy Note. Plus, it is also expected that the display will be a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The pixel density of the screen will be 360 ppi along with an aspect ratio of 16:9 which guarantees high definition picture. 2, Processor
It was highly estimated that the Galaxy Note 2 device will use the very same processor that is being used by the Galaxy S3 for its working i.e. the quad core Exynos 4412 processor. However, a short time ago, a device with model name ‘Samsung GT-N7100′ popped up on GLBenchmark. As the model name of the previous Galaxy Note is ‘Samsung GT-N7000′, the newly surfaced device GT-N7100 is being assumed to be the Galaxy Note 2. The revelations from the benchmark suggest that the Galaxy Note 2 will be some what more powerful than the Galaxy S3. The Note 2 processor will run at 1.6 GHz unlike 1.4 GHz of the Galaxy S3. In short, there are greater chances for Galaxy Note 2 for getting more powerful processor than the Galaxy S3.
3, RAM
Like for all other features, lots of rumors have been surfaced about the RAM capacity of the Note 2. Some rumors claims that it will have 2 GB of RAM while others states that it will get 1.5 GB of RAM. Most likely, the Galaxy Note 2 will get 1.5 GB of RAM. The powerful processor along with 1.5 GB of RAM would really result in fast paced processing and clutter free operations for the users.
4, Operating System
A big confusion is still prevailing over the Operating System of the Galaxy Note 2. There is no idea as to whether the Galaxy Note will be shipped with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System or with the upcoming Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System. Plus, it has been said that the Samsung would improve the image sensor of the camera, to be used in the note 2 by keeping the resolution same as that of the original Galaxy Note’s camera. The improved image sensor will certainly help the device in delivering higher quality images and videos.
7, Storage Capacity
The original Galaxy Note is offering 16 GB of internal storage capacity along with micro SD support for additional storage of up to 32 GB. Most likely, the Galaxy Note 2 will also offer 16 GB of internal storage but unlike its predecessor, this device might support micro SDXC instead of usual micro SD card. This micro SDXC is capable for offering an additional storage of up to 64 GB. Rumors also states that the Galaxy Note 2 might come in two variants, one is 16 GB version and the other is 32 GB version.
8, NFC
Most probably, the upcoming and the much anticipated Galaxy Note 2 will be a NFC (Near Field Communication) enabled device. The NFC technology will enable the device to support contactless sharing of data with other devices over a distance of few centimeters.
