Moon+ reader app has a book shelf interface quite similar to the Aldiko reader. The app is capable of recognizing eBook formats like html, txt, ePUB, CHM, umd, fb2, zip and OPDS. It automatically scans SD cards along with the internal memory of the handset and imports books available on the hard drive. This e-reader has 11 pre-installed themes that allow adjusting fonts, brightness and even background as per the surroundings. The app supports about 50 fonts. It boasts an intelligent feature which eliminates the spaces from unorganized eBooks. This app allows storing the eBook on cloud using a Dropbox account. This app has a truly nice and clean user interface. By default when the pages are turned, an annoying page turn animation imitates turning a page like a real book.

All the settings are bunched into a few main menus like Control Options, Visual Options, Themes, Misc and More Operations. One negative aspect of this app is that it lags a bit while turning to a new page. Also, it does not seem to be use the CSS file of the books. It does not boast any kind of shelf or main interface. This app has been designed to read books only. It does not have a clean white background by default in order to read books. It boasts a gradient old book type background. However this problem can be easily fixed by changing the texture to a solid color in the options menu. It comes with around 50 different texture backgrounds to read books on. The interface of the app is not an impressive one, yet it has a crazy amount of features that are not available in other e-reading apps. For example, user can read books both in landscape and portrait mode, although it takes around 30 seconds for formatting the book properly to larger screens.
