Google has made a grand entry into the tablet market by presenting an awesome tablet called Google Nexus 7. It has already been launched in countries like US, UK, and Australia and as expected they are selling like hot cakes. It is made available in two versions based on the storage capacities i.e. 8GB and 16GB for an approximate price of Rs. 11,000 and Rs. 13,750 respectively. Most likely, this amazing Google tablet will hit the Indian market by the end of September 2012. However, if you don’t mind in spending some extra bucks and want to buy the Nexus 7 right now then you can buy them online. Various Indian online sites are offering the tablet for an approximate price of Rs.17000.
One of the main attractions of the tablet is its operating system. The Nexus 7 would be the very first device to get the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the latest Android version. With Jelly Bean OS, the tablet will offer lots of incredible features for wide range of functions. The recent set of rumors claims that Samsung will officially launch the brand new tablet at the Samsung Electronics U.S event to be held on 15th of August 2012.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 will work on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System. Under the hood, it will have a very powerful 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor. It’s the same processor that is being used by the Galaxy S3 for its working. Another surprising feature of the device is that it will come with 2 GB of RAM instead of 1 GB of RAM. Moreover, it will sport a huge display measuring 10.1 inches, having a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The Asus Transformer Pad TF300 is one of the hottest devices in the tablet market. The apparent reason for its popularity is its 2-in-1 form. It can be used as both tablet as well as notebook with the help of an optional mobile dock. It is available in two variants; one is 16GB model for $379 and the other is 32GB model for $399. Most probably, this 2-in-1 device will enter the Indian market either by the end of August or mid of September 2012 for a decent price of just Rs. 20,900 (approximately). Plus, the news of getting the latest Android Jelly Bean 4.1 as its operating system has created even more excitement among Indians who are eagerly waiting for the Transformer Pad TF300.
The Transformer Pad TF300 features an impressive 10.1 inch touch screen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The mobile docking station comes with a full QWERTY keyboard and a track pad that will turn your tablet into a notebook. Karbonn Mobiles is a very reputed brand in the mobile phone market of India and this brand is specially known for bringing affordable devices for customers. Also, this time Karbonn Mobiles will not disappoint the customers, as the wonderful tablet called Smart Tab 4 will be priced at just Rs. 11000. Karbonn Mobiles has officially announced that the Smart Tab 4 tablet will be launched in India by the month of August 2012. Another version of this tablet, which will support a 3G SIM slot, is also expected to get launched very soon by September 2012.
The tablet will feature a Corning Gorilla Glass touch screen display measuring 9.7 inches. It will be powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor. It will also offer various useful connectivity options such as Bluetooth, WI-Fi, and 3G via an external dongle. It is also been expected that Karbonn will include its own push-mail service and messenger in the tablet. The internal storage capacity of the device will be around 8 GB. Now, after a long wait, the Iconia A200 tablet is about to enter the Indian market. It is highly estimated that the tablet will be launched very soon in coming months that too with an affordable price tag of Rs 15,000. Even though, at present the tablet works on an older Android Honeycomb 3.2 OS, the tablet will come packed with the Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich OS at the time of its launch in India.
