We have had several apps previously for an Android based device that would convert it into an scanner of sorts and helps the user to click photos using the rear camera of the device and convert it into a scanned image of a document. However if your device does not have a rear camera then? Don’t panic there is still a device that would convert your iPad or iPad2 into a scanner, we are talking about the new device that has been developed by the Brookstone electronics, which is capable of converting your device into a scanner by just fitting your iPad or iPad2 into the dock. This device is compatible with both the versions of the iPad- the iPad and the iPad2.
There are mainly two main parts related to the device the dock and the feeder tray while the dock is the place where your iPad ot iPad2 ,fits the feeder tray is a tray where the paper on which a print of the scan copy can be taken. Yes you heard it right the device even allows you to take a print out of scanned copy. All you have to do is plug your device onto the dock and start the app which needs to be installed from over the iTunes app store that belongs to Apple, for free. All you need to do next is to start feeding the machine with sheets of paper on which you would want the print of the scanned document.
The important thing about the device is that it works on battery and it still remains to be seen exactly how long does the battery of the device shall last, however we are pretty hopeful that it would be better than just a few scans by the road but would give a better number of scans than other. The device shall go on sale in the coming month of February with the $150 price tag to go along.
So there it is guys that is all we know about the new device do not forget to let us know of your opinion about the same in the comments section below.
