Bahrain based telecommunication company, Viva has signed partnership deal with leading multinational computer technology company Microsoft for being a first operator of launching the Windows Phone 7 OS powered HTC HD7 phone in the Bahrain market.

VIVA’s HTC HD7 comes with Windows Phone 7 Operating System as well as rich mobile multimedia features. HTC HD7 has large 4.3” (109 mm) touch display which serves an extra-large virtual keyboard and even you can enjoy favorite movies and videos in cinematic style. For offering a fast mobile data delivery and an improved Web-browsing experience, the HTC HD7 also features a Qualcomm 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. The HTC HD7 has 162 g weight with battery. The handset is also equipped with rear kickstand.

Advance features of the HTC HD7 includes GPS functionality, 8 or 16 GB internal memory storage, turn-by-turn navigation from TeleNav GPS Navigator, dual LED flash 5 megapixel autofocus color camera and video recording at HD 720p resolution. As well as, Bluetooth for hands-free devices, Wireless-N Wi-Fi networking, a 1230 mAh battery and stereo music streaming are also included in the Windows Phone 7 OS powered mobile.

Through the Windows Phone 7 operating system, users can easily access for social networking like Facebook, Xbox LIVE games, Windows Live, Bing, Zune; office apps, personal/corporate e-mail, streaming media, and other in just few steps by using a Hub and Tile interface.

For HTML Web browsing through Internet Explorer Mobile 8 browser, the HTC HD7 is designed with Microsoft Exchange e-mail and calendar plus the Microsoft Office Hub that provides popular productivity programs’ mobile versions such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint Workspace Mobile and OneNote.

The price of the VIVA’s HTC HD7 will be around $263 and available with a free 2GB worth data plan. Two alternative postpaid plans will be provided with this handset: (1) one year contract in which BD 199 initial payment and BD 10 installment per month or (2) two years contract in which BD 99 initial payment and BD 10 installment per month.
