The HTC Hero which is also known as T- Mobile G2 touch in the UK, Germany, Austria, Croatia, The Netherlands, and Hungary is known as Era G2 Touch in Poland. It is a part of the A series Android phone manufactured by HTC Corporation. It is HTC’s third handset to be powered by the android operating system.

The current operating price of the HTC Hero in the Indian market is Rs.34,600/- in Maharashtra and Rs.31,990/- in the rest of India. The android phone is available in all leading and authorized outlets of HTC across the country. The HTC Hero has the signature curve at the lower end and has a sleek and stylish body that measures 4.4 inch in length, 2.2 inch in breadth and 0.5 inch in width. Moreover, it features a 3.2 inch HVGA (Half Video Graphics Array) touch screen with an anti fingerprint screen coating.
Other significant focal points of the smartphone is the GPS, a digital compass, gravity sensor, a 5 megapixel camera, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD expansion slot. It also has a search button committed to allow more contextual search that not only includes looking through the contact lists or emails but also Twitter and other areas of the device.
