This feature is not limited to a petite set of definite keywords to do what you ask.
This feature is not same as Voice Search, it recognizes what you mean, understands what you say, and even talks back like a genuine human rather than a robot. For instance, if you ask “Any good pizza joints around here?”, then siri will give a list of restaurants in the neighborhood.
It knows your family, friends, boss and coworkers, from the details in your contacts. So you can tell Siri stuff like “Text my wife I’m on my way” and it will send that.
Siri can provide not only the answer; it can also do personally something for you. For instance, you can tell siri to remind you the appointment of Doctor, send message to your friend, and help you for finding the route of the destination.
Siri uses nearly all the built-in apps of iPhone 4S for finding the information you need. It can play the songs which you want to hear.
Siri also includes a “voice-to-text” function. For use of this function, only press the microphone and say out whatever you want to send. After that Siri will convert the contents of whatever you said into text form and send out.
In addition, Siri also included several third-party applications. You only need to pronounce words to send Twitter messages, update Facebook, or do real-time chat.
Siri finds answers for you from web through sources like WolframAlpha and Yelp. It uses location services automatically to find where you work, where you live and where you are for better comebacks. You can also find location of your friends by use of siri.
You can get information whatever you required like square root of 128, how many dollars is €45?, What was the best Picture of 1976? etc.
Siri also gives information about the weather. If you ask siri “Do I need an umbrella?”, then it will give you the forecast of the place where you are.
