I have been trying for about 1/2 hr. to activate my recently-given Gift Card — to no avail. I have followed all the prompts — nothing! I have the Gift Card #, the Gift Card Pin #, and the Plastic Gift Card # as well as the Pin # number on the card. Nothing works. I’ll have to wait until I can telephone the number on the card tomorrow (today is Sunday) before my new card can be activated — hopefully! Surely there must be a more convenient, less complicated way to activate this $20 card!! Lois Ray
If you go to the main web page at www.joann.com, and click on Gift Cards in the smaller business print at the bottom use can easily activate you card. I just did it and no problems what so ever. I even received an immediate confirmation. When you get to the gift card section on the left will be a list and in that list is “activate card” click on that and follow the instructions. Super Easy!
I received a JoAnn gift card through the mail but had erased the e-mail with the electronic gift card number. I have called your company two times and have been told they are sending it to the treasurer or it is with the treasurer. How long does it take for you to process this information?? I have all of the paperwork and plastic gift card. What else do you need.?

I received a Joann gift card for Christmas. How in the world do i activate it? Very disappoiintd in your site – pray i never receive another gift card from Joann’s.
What the hell is going on. I have tried to activate my card as I wanted to go shopping today. I can’t activate it all though I have done all the required promps. I have even called the 888# and they don’t know what there doing and can hardly speak English. How frustrating!!! Who ever in your organazation set this sight up has failed your company. I’m going to call customer service and see if I can get refunds for my gift bearers. I received two gift cards for Christmas. I was excited to get this gift card as I am an avid quilter and emborider. Very Dissappointed… Believe me I will tell all that I know not purchase your gift cards in the future. I belong to a HUGE Quilters Club from all over the United States.
I agree with all the above comments. I wil never buy gift certificates from this store again, if there were another fabric store in this town I would not shop at joann’s again.
