I found out you don't have to be a member of any group or association in order to get a medicare supplement. I recently switched medicare supplements. I bought my new one from National Medicare Supplements at www.nationalmedicaresupplements.com lowered my monthly premium by $50 a month, and got the same plan I had before. No more aarp for me.
