We ordered a silver remote control unit for our tv and received a black one. The reason was because the sound no longer was controlled when lowering it. I have tried to no avail to get the new one to operate. We either get the sound and mute but not the other functions, or we get the other functions but not the sound and mute. Please have someone contact us. We waited several weeks to get the remote and it obviously is not the proper one.
