Dear Sir / Madam,
I recently applied for Internet Banking, via cyberspace. I was given a Profile number and a temporary pin, which I since changed. During the conversation, i was asked to phone my bank and ask them to “RESET TRANSFER LIMITS”
Due to circumstances, it is almost impossible for me to phone them – I am presently in a very rural area of South Korea, and have no access to phones, only my Laptop and Internet.
I tried to arrange that my brother, who has signing rights on my Nedbank account, phone my branch and arrange the transfer limits to be reset, but unfortunately he was not allowed to do that on my behalf, even though, during my discussion with Patricia, on 06-10-2009, I mentioned that there is the possibility that I will arrange with him to act on my behalf. I was not sure if this was possible.
Anyway, I still need to arrange for the reset of transfer limits. How can I do that, seen that I cannot phone my branch from here where I am presently?
Please advise ASAP.

Recently I paid an amount over to a client based on an invoice etc via internet banking.I feel like a # one should especially when doing a transaction from another bank have at least 3 to 5 work days to stop payment.I was scammed and lost my money largely due to me unable to stop internet transfer or payment.Its a weak link that internet banking has to rectify.

I enquired about resetting of transfwer limits a while ago.
To my disgust, my mail, along with other personal references, were published on the internet, without me knowing, until a collegue pointed that out.
Even worse, to this day, I have not yet received any answers from Nedbank regarding my questions.
At time of writing, about three months have passed without any feedback from Nedbank.
