Acer’s “Liquid Metal” smartphone spotted posing in the wild- specs and features leaked
Acer (Acer Incorporated is a Taiwan-based multinational computer technology and electronics corporation that manufactures desktop and laptop PCs, personal digital assistants (PDAs), servers, storage devices, displays, and peripherals it was primarily a distributor of electronic parts and a consultant in the use of microprocessor technologies, but over time it emerged as a PC manufacturer Acer has shipped various Linux distributions on their notebooks and more recently netbooks. ) is being reported to be all set to release the next generation of its smartphones the first of which is being called the Liquid Metal.
The new smartphone has been leaked from the Russian mobile site habrahabr.ru and has gained popularity after EnGadget made it official. Like the several other leaks that have been heard in the recent times the details about this one is also scarce but still we have gathered as much of the details as possible from the different sources.

The device is running on the very prestige Android 2.2. or the Froyo system of Google operating system and supposedly carries a shiny aluminum body. The phone is set to use Acer’s tried and tested 3.6 inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen and will be powered by an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230-1 processor, in addition to sporting the usual array of features, such as Bluetooth 3.0 and a 5 megapixel camera. Acer Shell 4.01 and the 800MHz chipset runs everything, along with an Adreno 205 GPU, 512MB RAM and the same in ROM. The touchscreen display is small compared to other high end handsets. It sports a 3.61″ WVGA TFT LCD 800 x 480 resolution display.
It is not that Acer is new to the smartphones industry it has a lot of good smartphones in the market and the ones that are carrying the Android operating system have become very famous. The Acer Liquid A1 (S100) is a smartphone manufactured by Acer Inc. of Taiwan. The phone is Acer’s first to use the Android operating system, backed by Google.
