Astroburn a simple and smart software for burning CD, DVD, Blu Ray & HD media
If the out of date and complicated disk burner software gets to your nerves and get you annoyed to the limit. Then, this new software The Astroburn Pro is meant especially for you. The light weight Blu Ray disk burning software costing 20 euros is an inexpensive and easy to use solution.
Astroburn Pro supports the use of CDs, DVDs, Blu Ray discs, and HD DVD technology. The interface for the software is an uncomplicated one and follows standard Windows guidelines. The task starts with you inserting a blank disk into your drive and then creating whatever structure you want to store data. The data can be inserted by just dragging and dropping the files on the interface and then pressing Go. The process includes other time saving features like verify after burn which reopens your file from the burned location to confirm that the file has been burned successfully. Also there is a delete after burn option which deletes the original files after burning them a feature needed when one goes for creating back-ups.
Another important and very handy feature is the property to store the projects that have been created once this saved information can be used to create the copies of the already created CD’s without the need to accumulate and burn data again and again. This is useful for anything you plan to distribute, such as a program and associated documentation–whenever someone needs a copy, just fire up the project and burn again.

Another feature that needs a mention in this review is the listen before you burn feature. This is a special feature that allows you to preview the media that you are about to burn on to the disk before actually starting the burning process.
However, there is one issue that needs to be reported though small but yet noteworthy, while preparing a review. Though, the help file of the software is well documented and decorated with a lot of screen shots but it is not available with the software package, the help file needs the internet connection. Since, no part of the software installation deals with the internet therefore this seems to be a loophole left uncovered by the developers.
Although, the cost of 20 euros is a touch high for the software but for those who are related to a business where the burning and copying of CD’s, DVD’s, Blu Ray discs and HD media is common like CD manufacturers and educational organizations are definitely recommended to buy the software.
