We have seen the huge success of the Windows Mobile featured HTC device, the HTC HD2. But now, rumors have been leaked of the latest Windows Phone 7 featured device from the abode of HTC, the HTC HD 7. The device was previously rumored as the HTC HD3, but now this will be called the HTC HD7. Looking at the gaining popularity of Microsoft’s operating system for the mobile phones, it seems like HTC has made a good move in launching this HTC HD7.

According to the leaked rumors, the HTC HD7 is to be featured with a lot of attractive facets to talk about and catch one’s eye. According to the smarthouse.com.au, “Taiwanese phone Company HTC who virtually dumped the manufacture of Windows Mobile phones in favour of Google Android based models is set to launch a new HD3 Windows Phone 7 in London on the 15th of September at a two hour function being held at the Hyatt Hotel.” The company is of the plans to launch the device on September 15th at an event, which is in news with the release date of Windows Phone 7 in October in Europe this year.
Some of the leaked specifications of the HTC HD7 device include a 4.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen which shall support a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, a dual core 1.5GHz ARM-based processor and a combination of 1 GB RAM with a 32 GB of storage. The HTC HD7 has been code-named as 6HTHD7XM, and will enable the user to connect to the Wi-Fi. Enabling 4G network connectivity, the device is provided with an 8 MP camera which shall be supported with two LED flashes, HDMI port, HD recording capabilities and a 1800 mAh battery. Overall, the device is to be only 10 mm thick.

The HTC HD7 will go in Australia on sale later on this year, and is to be introduced to Telstra with the accompaniment of an exclusive offer of a 3 months contract. This comes after the company has had quite a bag full of success after selling the popular HTC HD2 Windows Mobile based phone earlier. But, you must always keep in mind that this is just a rumor at present, and none of this has been validated or verified by the company.
It is expected that the device will be available on UK carrier O2 from the 18th of October 2010. This fact is just a rumor and may be true or may not. Just watch out for further specifications and notifications of the device.
For information about the company HTC, it was formerly High Tech Computer Corporation, and is a Taiwan-based manufacturer of smartphones. The company initially made smartphones based primarily on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile software, but in 2009 it began to shift its core focus away from Windows Mobile devices to devices based on the Android operating system, and was founded in 1997 by Cher Wang and Peter Chou.

i love d spec sheet. no doubt, dis will be my next phone!! 1280×800 ?! as much as i want!
I really want this phone. I’ve seen other places that it is said to have a 32GB Storage cap as well as here… But on the Spec Sheet they have there it only says 16GB. All that stuff and only 10mm thick though? That might be a bit hard to swallow.
To bad the specs are better than the HTC HD2 but far from ground breaking, they just improved the HD2.. I was hoping to see: Dual Sim, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 3.0 etc
And other new stuff.. but for another recordbreaking phone such as the HD2 was 1 year ago we’ll probably have to wait another year at least.
Also I am not conviced with Windows Phone 7, because i except this new os to be extremely drm like closed.. so that one would have to jailbraik it in order to do with it what you want.. Therefore the HD2 with custum 6.5 rom (feb 2010) will probably not be beaten with this HD3 of HD7.
I use the HD2 as a business phone with all kinds of .cab games, apps & programms even some that i wrote myself.. Not beeing abble to instal of use my own apps will destroy all other benefits… so I am honest to say screwe you M$ i will stick to my HD2 onless you can convince me otherwise!!!
