The rumors about Motorola Droid X hitting the market had not even evaporated when here comes another make of genius from the house of Motorola- the Motorola Milestone 2, the successor of the Motorola Milestone- the same phone with the touch plus qwerty form factor that made huge news in the smartphone industry. Well today we can confirm that there are Milestone 2 plans and there’s even some Motoblur involved. The news is coming from a You Tube video that has been leaked on the internet pretty recently.

Motorola Milestone 2 - Motorola Milestone 2 Specs & Review: Motorola's Android 2.2 smartphone

We can easily make out that the device features that match the Motorola Droid 2 from head to toe, only that it is running the Motoblur on the top. The phone will be a great choice for anyone looking for a great Android smartphone, and if you were considering buying the regular Milestone then go for the Milestone 2 instead especially since it’s coming with Android 2.2 Froyo on board. The Milestone 2, unlike the Droid 2, comes with Motoblur on top, which some will like while others won’t. The video also emphasizes the 1GHz processor, HD video, Mobile Hotspot capabilities, up to 40GB of storage, the new Droid 2 keyboard, Flash 10.1 support and then some extra Motoblur features.

The official specs of the mobile look extremely promising because some of the cool features of both the Droid 2 and the Milestone have been incorporated in the Milestone 2 these include Light-Responsive Display, Pinch To Zoom, Qwerty Keyboard, Touch Screen, Virtual Keyboard And Voice Commands. Whether it’s being used as a Wi-Fi mobile hotspot or a mobile PC, MILESTONE 2 with MOTOBLUR is a juggernaut at both work and play. With its powerful 1 GHz processor and Android 2.2 with Adobe Flash Player 10, MILESTONE 2 allows the kind of access to the web that only a Flash supported phone can offer – full and rich. And with the intuitive QWERTY keyboard and expandable memory (up to 40 GB!), MILESTONE 2 has the tools to turn you into a web-rocketing, message-crafting, super you.

The MILESTONE 2 is powered by Texas Instrument’s OMAP (Open Multimedia Application Platform) 1GHz processor and open source V8 JavaScript engine from Google. That means faster web browsing and apps performance for you. MILESTONE 2’s QWERTY keyboard is larger, with raised keys for a better typing experience. There’s also a virtual keypad with SWYPE, where you trace the words without lifting a finger. There is also the feature of text to speech which indeed adds to the social networking experience of course.

The company is planning to launch the Motorola Milestone 2 in western Europe pretty soon but the official words about the date and the price tag has not brrn reveled but it is estimated to cost somewhere in between that of the Droid2 and the Milestone.

That’s it guys Motorola coming up with another genius. We think that the new model rocks in both looks as well as features what do you think . Do not forget to let us know of your opinions in the comments section below.
