OPAD N2 Review: Specs & Features of ONN’s Android 2.1 Tablet

ONN, the Chinese manufacturer, has now revealed the first Tablet PC from its shelter, the ONN Opad N2. The tablet is to be running on the Android 2.1 (Éclair) operating system, and actually possesses an ultra-thin body. The device is accompanied by a 7-inch resistive touchscreen which shall display a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The tablet device will be powered by an ARM9 processor at 1 GHz. The tablet device will feature a Rockship RK2818 platform as main specification, and shall provision for a Wi-Fi connection, an external optional 3G module, and finally an accelerometer and G-sensor for video games.

The ONN Opad N2 is being powered by the Android 2.1, though Android 2.2 (Froyo) would have been quite an amazing change. The processor speed was previously decided to be about 600 MHz, but later it was updated to be 1 GHz, which seems to be yet another attractive facet of the device. also previously the device was to feature the Rockship RK2816 platform, but later on it was updated to be Rockship RK2818 platform. This device will thus draw attention of all the Android lovers, apart from the sector of tablet aficionados. The pricing and availability of the device are not mentioned as of now by the company.
