Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy Note 10.1, making it the second entry in the Galaxy Note series. As we know that the series comprises of tablets which are pen-and-touch capable. As the name of the device suggests, the Galaxy Note 10.1 will sport a display of 10.1 inch, and shall be accompanied by 1.4 GHz processor with Android 4.0 Ice-cream Sandwich. The tablet is thin, light and powerful, weighing about 1.29 lb. The thickness measures about 8.9 mm.
Fine that we know that the device is stylus supporting. So, what is the major difference between Note and other stylus supporting devices. The difference is here: the Galaxy Note 10.1 is pressure sensitive. By this we mean that, the thickness of a line we draw using the stylus will vary depending upon the pressure we apply while drawing. This can easily be used for drawing purposes.
Another worthy change in this device is the support for Samsung S Pens. These are WACOM style stylus pens from Samsung for the Galaxy Note series. These S pens also incorporate a virtual eraser now. Moreover, Samsung has also updated its pen technology to recognize even more degrees of pressure than the original Notepad. The device is also packed with a lot of pen-ready software like some S-Pen Samsung apps, or the Adobe PhotoShop Touch.
