The Galaxy series has been one of the most successful venture of the Samsung group in fact this is one series of phone that has established the Samsung group on the map of global smartphone development. In this competitive market, the speed with which the rumors become true is quite amazing and today also we are going to talk about a Samsung Galaxy Series phone that was a rumor short while back but has become a reality in jiffy. WE are talking about the Samsung I9070 Galaxy S Advance which had leaked in the market only in the last week of January and has become a reality now.
This one is a variant of the Galaxy S series and is a powerful monster like the others in its series, the device bears pretty much the same features as that of the Galaxy S and SII however, the company has given it a much needed processor and RAM bump. To sum it up, the Galaxy advance comes with 1GHz dual core processor, 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, Gingerbread, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front camera, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 8/16B internal memory, 768MB of RAM, Allshare, FM Radio, microSD card slot and 1500mAh battery. As far as the performance of the device is concerned much of that cannot be commented upon however, there are certain things about the Galaxy S Advance that really pop their head out from the specs sheet, the first one being that the device is not much of a change from the already existing phones in the Galaxy series, the Galaxy S and the SII in fact are more impressive on the specs sheet than this one. So this seems to be Samsung’s attempt to make the Galaxy series more reachable to the common masses. The fact that it features the Touchwiz 4.0 UI and would get the ICS update in the future are things that re really working in its feature. Samsung Galaxy S Advance would be available in Russia starting February, followed by CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Latin America and China and as of now It seems to be a competition to the low end Galaxy series rather than the high end one.
AS far as the price is concerned there is no information about that, but we are assuming that when it is released in the Indian markets it will be priced at a reasonable 15k to 20 k range.
