Now, images of one of those up-coming handsets have been leaked on the web. The Samsung GT i8700 is the Windows Phone 7 device coming from the house of Samsung. The images reveal that the phone is quite amazing and eye-catching. The Samsung GT i8700 has not yet received a code name as of now, but it does look rather outstanding compared to the previous Windows Phone 7 smartphone from Samsung, the demo unit, which has been actually available to the developers for some time now.

Though the specifications of the Samsung GT i8700 smartphone have not yet been revealed, but one can vaguely make out some of the specifications of the handset from the leaked images. According to the leaked images, the smartphone is to be accompanied by a touchscreen display which shall be of size 3.7 inch to 4.0 inch. The phone is also going to be accompanied by a storage support of around 8 GB, and will also be accompanied by a camera with LED Flash support. The phone will also be provided with the usual three Windows Phone 7 buttons which are actually required for the phone to work.

But, it is rather unfortunate that no specifications of the Samsung GT i8700 have been revealed and even there is no telling about when the device is to crop up and emerge from darkness. The release date neither the price of the device has been unveiled, but among all the up-coming Windows Phone 7 devices known so far, this smartphone seems to be the best one to opt for, especially after the leaked images ofcourse.

We might even anticipate that the Samsung GT i8700 Windows Phone 7 smartphone might actually become quite popular and successful as the Galaxy S in the following months, and might also become the best option available for the consumers by Christmas 2010. Now, obviously we all know about these leaks happening now and then. The leaks don’t just happen like that, and seem to have deep reasons behind it. It seems that Samsung does probably want to spread awareness about their Windows Phone 7 device, so that the consumers know about the device prior to its release, thus facilitating further popularity and growth. Please feel free to let us know of your opinion about the Windows Phone 7 smartphone from Samsung, the GT i8700.

Personnaly the omnia 7 is a good phone, I mean the Snapdragon 1ghz professes and loads up net quicker than any phone I’ve had, 4 inch amoled screen and a very well put together camera. Best phone with windows 7 But……. That’s right there’s a but its not as good as most reveiws make it sound out to be. It only comes with a 8gb soldierd internal memory can’t be upgraded hence the reason for fast net and game loading, 8gbs won’t last you long and there’s no microsd slot. If you like your favourite mp3 files set as alerts especially ringtones can’t do it with windows 7. Also windows 7 is a good programme but all the apps are still quite exspensive and they’ll be like that untill there’s more competition unfortunately, which might take a couple of years yet. Some of the same app you have to pay about 4bucks for where as on Android their free. Android is the way to go. Its booming ATM.
