If thin and powerful can be a definition of a smartphone then this recently leaked sensation will fulfill all the requirements, the official Sony Ericson blog has recently leaked the most dazzling new beauty from the makers production house, the device is codenamed as Anzu and is expected to be called as the Experia X12. But of couarse since this is a leak none of the above stated facts may come out to be true. As far as the leaked photos are concerned the phone looks fantabulously slim and possesses brilliant exteriors. But believe us everything about the smartphone apart from its thickness is pretty big from the Screen size to the processor clock rate, from Video recording speed to the pixel count on the screen everything about it is huge.
Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X10 is a considerably big smartphone with a 4.0-inch touchscreen display which is huge enough to catch anyone’s attention. The Xperia X12 Anzu will come with a 4.3-inch display which is as much as the Sony PSP’s display. Codenamed Anzu, this smartphone will run Android 2.3 when it releases. Digital Imaging would be powered with HD camera capable of HD recording and you can watch the same on HDTV using the HDMI port on the phone. Now how big is that?
Sony Ericsson Anzu Specifications:
Here are the expected specs of the device courtesy the Phandroid team but since nothing about it is official till now all you can consider is that this is just a speculated list of the Sony Ericsson Anzu’s specs and many of this may or may not come true:
- MSM7230 processor
- 8.1 MP AF with Exmor R (16x Digital Zoom, HD Video recording (720p/30fps) w stereo audio recording support,
- Pulsed LED, Face Recognition & Tracking in video recording)
- Built-in 3.5mm (w/ adaptor)
- Noise Suppression
- 4.2” FWVGA (854×480) Capacitive display (X.LED multi-touch display, Capacitive multi-touch, 16 Million display color)
- WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
- HDMI (type D)
- Size (125.0 x 62.5 x 8.7-10.9 mm)
- Battery: 1500 mA
- OS: Android Gingerbread
The processor on the phone is probably clocked to around the 800 MHz or the 1GHz mark but generation-wise. It is not very advanced and hence the phone will have tough competition with the other Samsung and HTC smartphones that are lined for next year. The OS though is pretty high class which is one thing that I like about the phone. As far as the exteriors go they are exclusive but on the inside the phone is nothing really amazing. All we can say that this phone would come any time in the first quarter of 2011, unless Sony Ericsson has other plans. Keep a check on this space as we’ll update you when we get more details on it. After leaving Symbian Foundation, Sony Ericsson seems to be actively involved in making Android phones for its Xperia family of handsets. This android smartphone is expected to be expensive, price around €650.
