Ps3 Dynamic Themes in 3.0 Firmware & Photos
Sony has officially released firmware 3.0 for the Playstation 3 and bringing with it new XMB functionality, a status indicator, a friend’s list redesign, dynamic themes, avatars, and much more. There are some interesting changes across the system, and things definitely feel snappier. Already in the Playstation Store, Sony has the LittleBigPlanet “Dynamic Theme” for sale. Firmware 3.0 is apparently the last major PS3 firmware update this year.
The “Information Board” will be one of the clearest changes which will now be replaced by the “What’s New” section. The “What’s New” section will feature PlayStation news which will be located under the PlayStation Network icon because it is attractive self explanatory.
The Status Indicator will be other major additions, in the top right corner, the Status Indicator will show and will show your user icon, friend icon, how many friends you have online and also will show whether or not you have any new messages.
Additional new changes also include a re-designed friends list, dynamically customizable themes and avatars, PlayStation Store shortcut improvements, and improvements to the Trophy system especially in-regards to add-on content. Firmware 3.00 will offer support for animated XMB themes.
