The school I’m at offers the RosettaStone software delivered through the Internet at http://www.cbcwebcollege.com for only $180 for a year, which about less than half the price of level one bought off the shelf, plus I get access to all the levels and all 30 languages. That’s pretty awesome.
I especially like how the program corrects pronunciation and lets me “talk” to it. Rosetta Stone is a pretty nifty way to learn a new language and I would highly recommend it. I also like checking out the other langagues and comparing them together.
I agree with you that it is methodical and yet their instruction technique makes it fun.
I’m thinking about giving out gift certificates of this program for Christmas.
