Microsoft’s newest operating system; Windows 8 three screenshots are leaked at Chinese Windows 7 website. The leaked screenshots from Win7China.com revealed the forthcoming new feature of Windows 8 which is “Restore to original factory settings” (System Reset) option. This new feature will cut the cost of installing Windows repeatedly in case of malware or virus attack. By using separate partition of Windows 8 install this new feature to be activated.

A speedy format of the primary partition will be performed by the feature and after that copy a base build of OEM Windows 8 with different configuration options. The reset button will be situated below the system restore option within Windows. “Restore to original factory settings” feature will remove all the programs that have been installed in the computer after buying and also restore default Windows settings but the users can select to keep important data such as personal files and user profiles.

The reset feature let the user to reset the system to original OEM factory settings in just 2 minutes. However the speed of reset feature will depend on hardware abilities of computer. One disadvantage of this feature is that the reset doesn’t remove all the registry parameters even after the reset. It is expected that till September in this year Microsoft will be ready with a beta build of Windows 8. Primary Windows 8 interface of Microsoft is expected to be fully 3D.

To adapt the needs of user the interface will be “fully dynamic”. Fast hibernation and a dual UI are other estimated features. With Windows 8 a tile-based user interface codenamed “Mosh” will be introduced. There are also rumors that Windows 8 will come with a new fast hibernation system which hide in about 3 to 6 seconds and save all open documents as well as running tasks.
