1. Mini Xylo
The front of the Mini Xylo is just like the 2012 new Mahindra Xylo. The front bumper and headlamps are the same; the grill looks like the one found in the new Xylo. The front wheel arches appear to be the same; however the wheel size is slightly smaller due to the smaller size of the mini Xylo. The alloy wheels are pretty similar to the wheels of the new Xylo. The outside rear view mirrors and outside door handles are body colored. The car offers a sporty look with only two rows of seats with an option of two jump seats for children, at rear. The roof rails and side moldings are black in color and there seem to be door sills outside below the side doors. The powerplant of the MPV is BS V compliant and the DOHC 3 cylinder engine tips the scales at just 185 kgs. The mini Xylo is expected to have a fuel efficiency of around 18 kmpl.
2. Chevrolet Enjoy
Chevrolet Enjoy MPV has been produced in collaboration with General Motors. It will be launched in India by the end of this year. The Indian version of this MPV is fully based on the Chinese Wuling CN 100 Minivan. The Chevrolet Enjoy was displayed at the 2012 Auto Expo in New Delhi. The new Chevrolet Enjoy is expected to be available in two interior configurations including 7-seater and 8-seater similar to the Chevrolet Tavera. Price of Chevrolet Enjoy for both 7 seater and 8 seater versions is expected to be around Rs. 7 lakh to Rs. 9 lakh.
In India, the Chevrolet Enjoy will be available in both petrol and diesel versions. The diesel model will carry a 1.3L multijet engine from Fiat while the petrol model will feature a 1.4L petrol engine. The Enjoy will offer a mileage of over 12 kmpl in city and 16 kmpl on highway roads for a diesel engine. The petrol engine will come with tremendous power and brilliant performance. The petrol version will feature a 1.4L petrol engine with max power of 95 PS and peak torque of 127 Nm. Both the engines will be combined with a 5-speed manual transmission.
3. Nissan Evalia
Nissan Evalia is equipped with a 1.5 DCi diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 85 BHP at 3750 RPM and a peak torque of 200Nm at 2000 RPM. The car engine has been mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. Like the other Nissan vehicles, the Evalia is a perfect combination of performance and elegance as a wide range of equipments are attached with it to enhance its beauty. The car measures 1.69m x 1.88m x 4.4m and has a top speed of around 165 KMPH. It features a fuel tank with a capacity of 55 liters and offers a high mileage of 13 kmpl. With sliding rear doors, short bonnet and tall stance, it looks pretty aesthetic.

It sports 8 slim, hexagonally shaped seats that are attached together like pieces of a puzzle. The seating arrangements maximize the internal space and minimizing the width of the vehicle. The Hexa Space features Hyundai’s 1.2-litre, turbocharged Kappa GDi engine combined with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The car measures 4300 x 1820 x 1647 mm. With 19-inch tires, it has a wheelbase of 2750 mm. For the interiors, it boasts touch-screen center console along with a push button shifter and a cluster ionizer air purifier. The rear doors of the vehicle lift out and slide back making a wide-open entry space on each side. The Hexa Space is expected to run on a diesel 1.6-litre diesel engine similar to that in the Verna. The price of this upcoming multipurpose vehicle is expected to be around Rs. 10 to 12 lakhs.
5. Honda Freed
The Freed has the two sliding doors same as the older version, but they have to be opened manually. However they are not much heavy and the sliding mechanism also operates smoothly, so opening the doors does not require much effort. It has a spacious cabin and the walk-through layout provides easy access to the rear seats. The floor is just 410 mm from the road, so getting in is very easy. The seats in third row are foldable in just 3 steps providing an extra loading space. The low tailgate opening makes loading and unloading an easy task.
