BSNL Broadband using 3G Network:
Subscribers shall be able to access Internet using High speed broadband connection.You will be pleased to obtain at least 1 Mbps nonstop data transfer while BSNL talks of 2 Mbps.
BSNL will be offered USB Stick Interface or PCMCIA Card, so users have the choice to connect using anyone. On hand choices are Merlin X950D Express Card, Option Globe Trotter Express 7.2, Merlin XU870 Express Card, Option Globe Trotter Express HSUPA 3G data card and Sierra Wireless Air Card 880E.
Cost of BSNL Data Card:
3500Rs –if you opt to purchase the Data Card. If you choose this option, it is one time charge and no monthly payment is required. You can buy this data card on rental basis which would cost you Rs.200/month, if you are not looking for making any initial payments.

To try this new service, the trial pack offers 15 days of 3G data usage. The trial pack cost includes service tax also.

I would like to buy BSNL 3G. Now the initial cost is Rs 3500/- but 2 months back it was Rs 2500/-. My friend purchased the same plan for an amt of rs 2500/-. Why it is become 3500/- now. Please replay if u know the answer.

their shops theyt say its upto 3.1 to 7.2 Mbps
depending on the type of device and area.
Assume we have a device which supports 3.1 Mbps,
and a good coverage, then what can be the download speed…?
Does it come more than 150 to 200 KBps(for file download) in the worst case? What is the lowest speed and best speed experienced in your respective areas..?

I am using this and do not want to use in further. BSNL 3G DATA CARD services is very bad. Please go for others. You do not have get more than 20Kbps.

very frequently the monthly charges of bsnl datacard for internet is changing. but it is not informed to customers. the bsnl authorities shoud inform customers about any change in the tarrif. there shoud one week advance message about the date of recharge.once i have recharged excess amount than required but my internet facility was not restored.where is the money i have paid?
