For the first time customers had a great preference for Pay as You Go mobile broadband service and this is according to the news of a popular broadband comparison site (http://www.broadband-expert.co.uk/). This was based upon the sales figures for the month of October.

Based upon the reports of the comparison site, 53% of the regular broadband users picked Pay as You Go service in the month while 47% have opted for other contract deals. The sales of pay as You Go sharply increased at the end of 2008. Most of the customers understood that they have no need to enter into any lengthy contract, while they can pay out only for the amount of broadband used.

The sale of Pay as You Go mobile broadband and phones was high until the period of Christmas as they performed well when compared with other contract mobile services. This prepaid broadband or phones is one of the ideal gift for people who will not be able to get credit such as under 18’s or very old.

There was alike situation with T-mobile; During Q3 2009, due to the flexibility of pay-per-day tariffs customers enormously opted for contract phones and broadband. Pre pay mobile broadband sales accounted for 20% and the sales started to grow up by 10% every month during the last three months in 2009.

The findings by GfK Retail & Technology was also similar as that of Broadband Expert, which revealed that more than 63% of the people opted for prepaid variety in mobile broadband deals during September 2009.
