How to install digsby?
To install the digsby, open the site and click on the “Download now” option, and save the installer on your computer where you want. Once you complete the download process, run the installer and get the welcome screen of the Digsby and click on the “next”. After then you get the license agreement terms and condition, read agreement very carefully and finish the process. And the last you need to create a digsby account with entering your username, password and email Id and complete the installation and begin to use digsby by entering your digsby username and password.
Once you login in the Digsby, first you will get the blank buddy list with ‘Add Accounts’ section, click on it and add your IM, email and social network account into digby.
To add your contact, open digsby preference page from the tool bar (Ctrl+P) and where you will get the all account symbol on top side, click any one on it and get the dialog box enter your account credentials. For example, if you select Gmail logo, then it will be asked Gmail id and password to add as contact.
At the right side of the digsby you will get many other sections such as accounts, general and profile, skins, buddy list, conversation, file transfers, status, privacy, notification, widgets and research module.
With skins applications, you can modify looks of digsby by selecting theme.
You can also change your message themes from personalized conversation. For it open skins section and select conversation theme and variant.
Status is one of the most powerful features of instant message. To enter your status message, open status navigation from the preference page and write new status message. You can also set the messages by writing in status box.
To send instant message, simply double click on your buddy list from the preference page to open an IM window and write text message and enter. If you receive email the conversation window is out of focus. During the chat, you can do multitask. Minimize the IM (Instant messaging) windows and you see new IM’s popups, right from it you can reply.
Using the drop-down menu which is located at the right side of the “Action Bar”, you can add friends; block buddies, view past chat, and change notification preferences. At the IM Window, you can send email to your buddies without opening your account and also invited them for video chat.
Person can unite friend list for all their AIM, Gtalk, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Jabber and facebook chat accounts.
When you chat with more than one buddy, then they will show as tabs in single IM window. With tabbed conversation windows, you can control several chat and also drag tabs out into their own windows for personal and important chats or talks.
Digsby gives Infobox to check everyone’s status message and profile. It also gives rename contacts with an assumed name, so you do not require memorizing your friend names.
If your friend works on more than one AIM Account, then you can join them into a particular merged contact to reduce duplicate followers.
Search-enabled log viewer helps you to log conversation history and find necessary information.

You can mange your seven different email account, like Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL/AIM Mail, IMAP, and POP from digsby.
When new email arrives, you will get popup notifications, you can reply the receive email by click on right side of message with auto-login into webmail accounts.
Every mail account has infobox which gives a snapshot of your unread messages with just one click.
Right side from the infobox, you can perform actions like “Mark as Read” or “Report Spam”.
