Alan Mullaly, the President and CEO of FORD motors exposed the much anticipated new car to be produced in India called as the new Ford Figo. This new car was launched at a press event in New Delhi as a main addition to the Ford India Brand Portfolio. The new car Ford Figo gets its name from the Italian word for “cool”. Features of Ford Figo:
- Kinetic design elements
- The car has a small front grille and a large air-dam
- The large swept back headlamps, recessed fog lamps
- The cleverly included indicators are all hallmarks of a typical Kinetic design new generation ford
- The eye-catcher that runs from the indicator to the tail is angular, rather than a straight line, to reduce any visual heaviness that the car might have otherwise created
- 3.0-liter common-rail turbo diesel engine
- Five-speed automatic transmission together with an array of contemporary
- 16-Inch alloy wheels and touch screen satellite navigation system with built-in DVD player
- A back-view camera and Bluetooth capability
- Figo looks very muscular and much better than Honda Jazz, Skoda Fabia and Maruti Ritz

Expected Price of Ford Figo
The Figo petrol is expected to be priced around 3.5-3.75 lakhs and Figo Diesel will retail around 4.20-5.0 lakhs. New Volkswagen Polo is also expected to be priced under 5 lakhs which means competition is going to heat up in the early next year with Maruti Ritz, Hyundai i20, Skoda Fabia and Honda Jazz in B+ hatchback market in India.

Is that true that the engine will be 3000 cc and the transmission will be automatic? i didnt hear like this from any other place. is that true? i cant belive that. its a small car. even the ford fiesta have only 1600 cc engine. then how this figo will get a 3000 cc engine. i think the webmaster is gone mad.

i think the webmaster has confused between figo and endavour b’coz he has given all the specifications of endevour exept price.
ritz is Very smooth & happy engine.Front seats are very supportive.Company fitted integrated music system sounds good & would satisfy most, though discerning listeners could ask for more crispness & bass.Feature riched- Twin air bags,ABS, tilt steering,driver seat ht. adj, alloy wheels, wide tyres(195), stereo control on steering wheel etc. You can have the details on web site. In my opinion, for the price, the list of equipments are too good.
ritz is very comfortable to drive and better utilization of space. Very smooth gear shifting and you donot even know if the engine is on.good in mileage…

After i read figo with 3000litres engine, i have stoped going further. will never enter again……
I am afraid, Figo can give consistent mileage. i have known ford cars, they are not that fuel efficient. My friend bought Ritz and very happy with the consistent mileage of 17 kmpl Diesel. He also came to know that Ritz sells good even in after sales market.. because, there is a great demand for Ritz. everywhere.. Maruti Ritz simply rocks ya!
I just got a figo 1/2 hour ago and cant find who to look the doors which should be the easiest thing to do.
