Imei Tracking Guide – IMEI serial number Registration India

The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) is a unique number for every GSM, WCDMA, iDEN mobile phone and some satellite phones. Generally it is printed inside the battery compartment of the mobile phone and it can be displayed by dialing *#06#  on mobile phone.

According to the government of India, you should have a genuine IMEI code. The government has declared circular to mobile networks to block the mobile services that do not have a genuine IMEI number. Such phones will be blocked by the mobile service providers as per the government direction from November 30, 2009.

IMEI helps us in finding the manufacturing date and model of the handset. In addition to that, one can track IMEI which help to find his lost mobile phones, their location and other important details. It is not compulsory that Every Chinese mobile and phone has genuine IMEI number, those all mobiles are going to be forfeited of services by their service provider. So Department of Telecommunication issued a notice to “all customers to get themselves a genuine IMEI number from DOT approved service centers.”

Track IMEI will help you find your lost mobile. IMEI helps to find the manufacturing date and model of the handset. By this one can approach to lost mobile phones, to their location and other main details.

What is an IMEI number?

• IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is unique 15 digit identification number of the Mobile Handset. It is like the registration number of your vehicle.
• One can check the IMEI no of the Mobile Handset by pressing *#06#
• IMEI numbers are being allotted by five bodies authorized by GSMA.
• From IMEI number one can identify the make and model of the handset.
• To verify the IMEI number one can send a message “IMEI <15 digit IMEI No.> to 53232
• For eg, IMEI 351869910223340 to 53232
• Message displayed for correct IMEI – Success!!
• Message displayed for incorrect IMEI – Alert!!! Invalid IMEI
• No two mobile handsets in the world should have the same IMEI number.
• IMEI number is an important tool for the handset tracking.

   i purchase fly mobile set model no. fly B700 dual sim only one sim was working whose imei no. is 358252012823691 and the other imei no. is 135790246811220 are not working ,so sir it is request to tell me how we registered this second imei no. or please registered my both imei no. my mobile no. is 9596971858.

   NEWS FOR ALL

   I have done all the research and ground work needed, filed an FIR , contacted various gsm service providers so here is the answer to the question ” CAN I TRACK MY MOBILE NUMBER USING IMEI number?????”

   ANSWER : – ABSOLUTELY NO

   I Lost so called secure mobile BlackBerry 9000 from chandigarh, and i lost it almost after 10 minutes of purchasing it. :( I filed an FIR, i did all, i followed up with the police and the conclusion is , even though it is hell easy for providers to track a imei number it is not a service provided to an average Indian Citizen , this service is only provided when head of police notifies all the service providers to track a IMEI number, and he notifys only if it is needed in a criminal case of importance.

   This service is of course easy to obtain by MPs,MLA’s and police officials , but as yet for an average Indian citizen the only solution is to forget about the stolen mobile and move on.

    you cont get correct imporation,all are bleaming now a days,no body is not perfect in this worls,
    they want money thats it ,they dont want customer service.money is not a life recently i lost my mobile but i tryed so much but no use.why they put lot of web sites but nobody cont get correct matter.
