Avenged Sevenfold drummer James Owen Sullivan A.K.A “The Rev” has been passed away on December 28, 2009! Thousands of fans are shocked when they heard about his sudden death. What was the reason of his early death? It is assumed that he died of natural causes, according to the Orange County Coroner’s Office which is doing investigation for his death. There is no official report came out about his Funeral Arrangements right now! The Rev will be really missed. Dead James Owen Sullivan (The Rev) Autopsy Report has also not come yet!
The 28-years-old, Avenged Sevenfold drummer’s death details have not been released by the police department at this time. One of the statements of department is like that, the more specified cause of death will be released an ‘Autopsy Reports’ came in.
Leana Silver (wife of James Owen Sullivan) survives James Owen Sullivan. In 2006, an American Rock band ‘Avenged Sevenfold’ came to fame and received top admiration from its fans, music critics & others. Both roles as a singer & other as a drummer was played by Jimmy Sullivan. He also sang some popular songs including “Afterlife”, “Gunslinger”, “Brompton Cocktail” & some more too for Avenged Sevenfold.
Sullivan was also recognized as The Reverend Tholomew Plague alias Rat Head alias Mr. Plague.
The band tried to live down its reputation for debauchery in recent years. But in particular, Sullivan had raised eyebrows after 2006 cover story in metal magazine that ‘Revolver described his penchant for cocaine and other drugs’.
The band has issued this statement about The James Owen Sullivan’s death:
“It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy ‘The Rev’ Sullivan.
“Jimmy was not only one of the world’s best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy’s family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time. Jimmy you are forever in our hearts. We love you.”
Still the Rev’s last rites arrangements have not been declared. It will be published soon here as it will be available.

u all think its hard for u but its harder for me cause he died on my b-day when i was at the movies watching avatar wit my family and i heard the news the next day form my dad i cant belieave i was haveing fun while the best brummer ever was dieing. have the rev and keep on rockin behind those pearly gates i hope u meet some of those rockers upthere now. the rev.. he was amazing. he was a true musician. he could sing play the drums the peano and maybe even the drums.
when i found out about his death 22 days after my birth day my dad just got done telling me that we could go to an a7x concert and get back stage passes next time they came to town.. as a drummer myself i was excited because i was going to meet the one and only rev..

well rev what can i say. i mean my friend kyle tried to get me to like a7x but i only liked beast and the harlot then one day he told me to search it up and i saw you rev in the music video pimping with that chick making her get possessed then i saw you do your signature drum twirl which blew me away. Now when this first happened my friend kyle was crying and i was like what happened and hes like the rev died. now at the time i had no idea who he was but now i realized when about 2 months ago i became obsessed i cried myself. When i heard the song afterlife espcially when it says ” i dont belong here we gotta move on dear escape from the afterlife”its just sad because its almost like they expected something to happen in the near future about a death so now whenever i listen to either of those songs i almost cry everytime. the rev was my idol, i cannot explain how hard it was for me to take in he had died but compared to how the rest of Avenged Sevenfold are feeling, my feelings are nothing, he will be dearly missed, he found his little peice of heaven to early..
