According to the reports from the Singapore, it is come to know that the 87 years old Singapore strongman, Lee Kaun Yew suffered an enormous heart attack on Friday night at 9:34 pm Singapore time. Goplain Nair declared this news on his website that Lee Kaun Yew suffers in massive Heart Attack.
According to the reports, he was admitted in the Singapore General Hospital under the Intensive Care Cardiac Unit and cautiously watched by team of doctors. His son whom he appointed as the Prime Minister and his other 2 children are beside him and taking care of Lee Kuan Yew. In the same hospital his wife is also admitted from several years as she is in coma.
At this age, it is unsure that Lee can recover. It has been also come to know from the reports that the pacemaker malfunctioned triggering this enormous heart attack. This one man runs the entire country; business leaders and bankers had this fear from very long time which comes true. This incident can raze the business confidence and also cause total obliteration in the small island city state because of their lack of confidence in MM Lee’s son, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s capability to govern. According to the reports, some investors have already transferred their funds because a fear could be run on the banks.
Since 1959, Lee was declared the Prime Minister of Singapore and he ruled Singapore with an iron. In the year 1990, he had officially surrendered his position still he remains in the cabinet as Senior Minister. Now, he is known as Minister Mentor.
Goplain Nair is a strident critic of the PAP government. Under the banner of the Workers Party, Nair contested in the year 1988 and 1991. In the year 2008, Nair was jailed for 3 months for insulting a Singapore judge on a blog posting.
Some high ranking civil servants and judges were responsible for human rights cruelty against his political rivals.
Gopalan Nair also suggested that at the Geylang and Mountbatten Road junction and the Orchard Road and Patterson Road there were reports of little pockets of peaceful protester and exhibitions.
After this news there were several telephone calls to the Prime Minister’s Office and the Singapore’s newspaper named “The Straits Times” for inquiry.
