Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, and Brian Geraghty are the stars of the hurt Locker, who are a Member of U.S. Army EOD unit in Iraq and follow their mission jointly as they compete with defusing bombs, the threat of insurgency, and the tension that develops among them.

Besides the strong setting and action series of the film, the DVD include some really cool special features to understand the world of the soldiers in a bomb squad unit. After the scenes the DVD extra features runs 12 and a half minutes in length and total length of DVD is 131 minutes.

During the first week of shooting in Jordan, the shooting was stopped for some days, because there was a heat wave. It was so hot that the cinematographer, Barry Ackroyd, took sick with heat stroke, and also actor Jeremy Renner tripped and fell down some stairs.

The movie is a strong representation of elite soldiers who have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world: disarming bombs in the heat of combat. In a new segment, James takes over a highly trained bomb disposal team amidst violent conflict and surprises his two subordinates, Sanborn and Eldridge, by irresponsibly dipping them into a lethal game of urban fight.

    People are saying Hurt Locker was an upset. No. A Serious Man would have been an upset. Hurt Locker deserved Best Picture and it’s just an added bonus that it beat out the most expensive movie ever made.
