The 2016 Olympics Summer Announcement

Are you passionate about the Olympics in America? On Friday October 2nd, the 2016 Summer Olympics announcement is coming shortly before 1:00 EST and Chicago is one of the finalists host for the 2016 Games. The day has finally come when the International Olympic Committee has been announced that four cities competing for the honor of hosting 2016 Olympic Summer Games. Chicago, Tokyo, Madrid and Rio de Janiero are the four cities bidding for the 2016 Olympics Games. Here I have included schedule of events for Friday’s announcement.

Most peoples on the earth like Oprah Winfrey and President Barack Obama are also visiting Copenhagen to support with Chicago’s Olympic pitch.

At 11 a.m. Friday at Park 52, 5201 S. Harper Ave. in Hyde Park, Olympics watchers were gathered or on the Gold Coast at Timothy O’Toole’s, 622 N. Fairbanks Ct., where doors opened at 10 a.m.

Coverage is set to start around 1.30am with coverage on Channels 2, 5, 7, 9 and 32, if you wish to stay in and watch the event on TV.

The 2016 Olympics Schedule Announcement:

PRESENTATIONS: Each city makes 45-minute presentations to the IOC members on the day of the vote, with another 15 minutes for questions and answers.

THE ORDER: The presentations begin with Chicago at 8:50 a.m. Copenhagen time (2:50 a.m. EDT). Tokyo goes next at 10:30 a.m. (4:30 a.m. EDT), followed by Rio at 12:10 p.m. (6:10 a.m. EDT) and Madrid at 2:50 p.m. (8:50 a.m. EDT).

THE VOTE: Members start voting at 5:10 p.m. (11:10 a.m. EDT). Voting finished by 5:40 p.m. (11:40 a.m. EDT).

THE ANNOUNCEMENT: The announcement ceremony is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. (12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. EDT).
