New South Wales have announced their final 15-players squad for warm-up matches for this two-week long tournament which started on yesterday October 8. The Champions League is scheduled between October 8 and 23. After the 2008-09 KFC Twenty20 Big Bash final against Victoria, New South Wales is first qualified for the Tournament. The list of the New South Wales Team Squad is given below.
They will be competing for a stunning first prize of US $2.5M against stiff opposition from around the world. NSW team can be considered as the most formidable team in the whole tournament.
Simon Katich is the captain and Brad Haddin is the wicketkeeper of the New South Wales Team.
The NSW team has an outstanding mixture of international experience and talented player like batsman Katich, Phillip Hughes, David Warner and Moises Henriques. It has main bowlers like Brett Lee, Stuart Clark, and Doug Bollinger.
New South Wales Team will compete with English T20 Champions Sussex and South African domestic runners-up, the Diamond Eagles in the opening phase of the tournament.
